C’est vraiment l’expression du jour, répétée à l’envi sur tous les sites des médias, et employée par Jean-Marie Bockel, ex-ministre (et ex-maire de Mulhouse), lorsqu’il a appris qu’il était débarqué du gouvernement Fillon.
Je n’avais jamais entendu cette expression pour laquelle je n’ai pas trouvé grande explication étymologique, sans doute il est assez inhabituel de se percher sur une armoire… Mon hypothèse est que c’est certainement l’adaptation de « tomber de sa chaise » pour des gens qui, placés plus haut dans la hiérarchie sociale, tombent par conséquent de plus haut. Sans pour autant « tomber des nues », chose sans nul doute réservée aux divinités…
Trève de plaisanterie, quand je vois (et le comble, j’y participe) le buzz énorme que fait cette expression sur le web aujourd’hui… j’en tombe… sur le cul.
