J’ai eu envie de publier ces photos (prises en grande partie par ma fille Cécile) sur Picasa :
http://picasaweb.google.com/beatrice.fauroux/UnJardinAnglaisDansLeKent02?feat=email#, parce qu’elles reflètent bien l’esprit du jardin anglais, luxuriant, soigné et coloré, comme un pied de nez aux ciels plombés et pluvieux de ce pays. Nous n’avons pas osé prendre en photo un jardinier amateur en train de couper au ciseau sa haie de lauriers d’environ 15 mètres de long, ni tel autre à genoux sur son gazon en train d’y extraire patiemment de dangereuses mauvaises herbes, mais cette passion pour le jardin m’a paru aussi touchante que drôle. Sur un plan visuel, on ne peut que s’incliner devant une nature aussi bien travaillée…
